Late Sunday evening, on October 30, 2022, we were alerted that our state-of-the-art Mitzvah Tank was defaced and graffitied on in a hateful attack. Our Mitzvah Tank was parked in the heart of SOHO, on Broadway.

The New York Police Department is taking this incident very seriously, and we thank them for their strong response. We will keep you updated as the investigation continues.

Mitzvah Tank NYC, under the direction of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, proudly serves the communities of lower Manhattan, offering Jewish people the opportunity to perform Mitzvot.

Our fleet of Mitzvah Tanks and volunteers are not intimidated or deterred by this hateful incident. In fact, we are already back to our usual programming.
